To our knowledge we've never lost a client because of our critters. In the event that someone is uncomfortable around animals we simply remove the animal in question to another part of our office. There is also a suite in our office that is kept animal-free for those with allergies, and we are happy to meet with clients there if desired. For the most part, though, we find that most clients are pleased by the friendly nature of our pets!

I had a client call me for an appointment who first asked if there were any animals in my office (to which I answered no) but then she asked if I owned a cat (to which I had to answer yes). She didn't make the appointment saying she was so violently allergic to cats that even any stray fur on my clothing from home would be too much.
I assume you warn clients about the animals (do you?) Have you lost many clients because of them being there?
